“God’s Country” is a phrase you often hear used to describe the rich tapestry of life God has woven in Appalachia. But the destruction of Creation and injustice toward people caused by mountaintop removal has raised the concern of people of faith across America. Five major religious denominations have already passed resolutions in opposition to mountaintop removal (click here to read).
